About This Spot

Stepping into Jake’s Pizza feels like settling into a well-worn neighborhood spot where familiarity and warmth wrap around you like a favorite old sweater. The pace here is unpretentious and easygoing, the kind of place where conversation flows naturally between the din of friends catching up and the quiet moments we all crave after a long day. The room hums gently with the promise of comfort—simple, honest food and genuine hospitality are the heartbeats of Jake’s.

There’s something quietly special about how this place approaches pizza, carving out its own space with a crust that strikes the delicate balance between thin and substantial, echoing timeless traditions with a personal twist. The sauce, clearly crafted with care, carries a freshness that invites you in and lingers in the best way. Whether you’re sharing a pie topped generously with mushrooms or savoring an unexpectedly rich chicken Alfredo pizza, each bite feels like a quiet celebration of crafted flavors and familiar moments.

The service here adds a layer of humanity that lingers long after the last slice disappears. It’s clear that folks behind the counter know their regulars’ names and their first-timers’ curiosities alike, ready with recommendations that never feel rehearsed but rather born from genuine pride in their craft. There’s a casual authenticity in how orders are taken, how questions about taco toppings or crust preferences are welcomed and met with thoughtful answers.

Jake’s isn’t just a pizza joint; it’s a space where local rhythms meet the artistry of Italian-American flavors, where the joy is found not only in the food but in the small, shared experiences between staff and guests. Walk in with the expectation of good company served alongside each slice, and you’ll leave carrying a little piece of that warmth with you.

This place is incredible. The sauce is amazing, the pizza is so cheap and so good! Don't mind the one star review (they have a problem with door dash) just pick up the pizza they say on their name no delivery. So worth it. Sauce is made fresh (obviously) one of the best pizza places I've ever been to, top 10 of all time. And I've had pizza in New York.

Called my order in so I didn't have to wait on it when I got there. Gentleman was super friendly on the phone. First time trying their pizza so I had a question about the taco toppings. I got both 12in. When is extra extra mushroom the other one is Taco. THE CRUSSSTTT. I miss pizza in Europe being thin, not overly sweet and they NAILED that style of crust. They're marinara sauce is super delicious. Neither pizza is greasy or heavy but the flavors are packing. They use fresh mushrooms and the taco pizza toppings were perfect and tasted very fresh. Literally my new favorite pizza.

This is the best thin crust pizza around in my opinion. Everyone has their preference if that's thick crust to thin or anything in-between if you prefer thinner crust i suggest jakes pizza they are a local favorite and are great and decent priced.

GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE FROM ED!! He gave us great recommendations and they hit the spot. The pizza is phenomenal, if you don’t run into Ed to serve you and give you a recommendation, get the chicken Alfredo pizza, 100/10!

Brooklyn guy moves to Cleveland and brings the delicious pizza with him here at Jake’s. Will be back next time in Cleveland.

I was visiting Belle Vernon on business, and I stopped at Jake's for a 9" pizza. Super nice people with amazing pizza, they would give any top NY pizza joint a run for the money with their locally top rated pizza with one of the best pizza sauces I have ever had. 2 thumbs up on this restaurant and their prices.

A solid pizza place. Very close to I-70 so it’s a good location for people traveling through the area. Street parking around the corner. I had the 9-inch cheese pizza. Flavorful slice, nicely crisp crust, good sauce, and excellent, friendly service. Ambiance has a pleasant 70s/80s NY vibe. Very inexpensive: $8.10 for the pizza and a can of soda.
